ABOUT US

An AI companyborn on theshopfloor

We did not build an AI and then go looking for manufacturing problems.
We spent years on the shop floor first, and that is how we learned which problems are worth solving with AI.

01, Where it started

The machine-tool years

RemoteNC's first product was not software. It was a machine tool.

Those years were spent on the shop floor: watching tool changes, chasing drawings, keying dimensions in by hand before close of business.

What we learned was not technology but rhythm: quote by tomorrow, revision on the floor today, inspection sheet before the truck leaves. None of it hard. All of it has to be right.

Later we built that into an ERP and sold it to shops like ours. It helped, but the heaviest part never changed, somebody still had to read every drawing, one at a time. And it was always the most experienced person in the building doing it.

That is where CADASU began.

RemoteNC office

Roots

A team out of the machining trade

We built machine tools ourselves and hit the same walls. Nobody has to explain a title block, a revision, or why a tolerance cannot just be loosened.

Team

Engineers from Google, LINE and Trend Micro

Researchers from world-class AI companies, alongside a decade on the shop floor. One side trains the model, the other knows how the drawing gets used.

02, What we believe

Three things we believe

01

Only people who know the floor ask the right questions

Sales sees a price, engineering sees feasibility, QA sees whether it can be measured. Build the tool without sitting in those three chairs and nobody will use it.

02

Nobody trusts an answer without a source

Every number here ends up in front of a customer. So each dimension is marked on the drawing and each answer points to a document and a page. The checking stays with a person.

03

How fast it goes in is how much it is worth

AI changes monthly. A system that takes a year to go live ships with last year's technology. So run a drawing you already have, see the result, then talk about rollout.

03, Milestones

The road so far

From selling machines to selling software to training our own models, every step was pushed by the shop floor.

  1. 2019

    Started in machine tools

The company was founded around machine tools. The rules, the vocabulary and the rhythm of the shop floor were all learned then, and so was our running list of what hurts in this industry.

  2. 2021

Launched an ERP and became a software company

We turned the potholes we had hit into a system and started selling software instead of machines. From quoting to work orders to inventory and costing, that ERP still runs daily in customer plants, and it gave us first-hand knowledge of how manufacturing data is actually shaped.

  3. 2023

    Moved early on AI

We began developing models that read engineering drawings, what became CADASU AI.

  4. 2024

    Joined the NVIDIA startup ecosystem

With NVIDIA's technology and compute behind it, model training moved onto world-class infrastructure.

  5. 2025

    Raised several million USD

The funding went into model research and delivery capacity. Most of it goes to one thing: making the model read more accurately and making it easier to adopt.

04, Join us

Help us change how manufacturing works

Tens of thousands of machine shops hold up a large part of the world's supply chain, and most of their drawings still sit in folders while quoting depends on one person's memory. That is worth solving properly, once.
If you would rather build something people use every day than something that demos well, let's talk.
