Every customer drawing meant redoing the title block
Overseas drawings arrive with different title blocks, different languages and a mix of metric and imperial. Before anything reached the floor, an engineer had to fit the shop's title block, translate the notes, convert the imperial dimensions and stamp it for release. Forty minutes per drawing, and hundreds of drawings a month.
New frame, translation and conversion in one pass
CADASU folds all of that into a single pass: apply the shop title block, translate the notes, convert the units, carry in the drawing number and revision, and output a file awaiting approval, which a person then releases.
Sixty hours saved a month
Processing a drawing fell from forty minutes to seven. Across a hundred-plus drawings a month, that is more than sixty engineering hours back.
